It’s been a while since I wrote something on my blog and the layer of dust on this blog was really hard to remove. Well maybe some of you has been wondering what I’ve been up to.. Well the summer was great actually, I were on festival in Gothenburg called Metaltown witch was a really awesome festival with many great bands. Slipknot was the grande finale on Metaltown and hell yeah! they know how to rock the shit out of a festival!

I’ve also decided to take a year off from the studies on college because of my lack of self-discipline and maybe next autumn I’ll be ready to dive into the studies again but this time I’ll try another program called Webmaster were you learn how to be a webmaster, I’ll learn how to manage PHP, XML, MySQL and stuff like that. Hopefully I’ll do better.

My plans for the autumn is to work and work and maybe work little more.. And almost forgot, I’ll also go to a concert with In Flames in Gothenburg and yeah, they will rock the shit out of that town!!

That’s all for me this time, hopefully you’ll hear from me soon I’ll try to keep this blog updated again.

Not a long time ago I read a rumor that said that Apple is working on a netbook. Yesterday I read on the swedish MacWorld site that new pictures of how the Netbook would look like has been publiced in a Russian computer magazine.

According to 9to5mac this is the specifications of the hardware in the Netbook

I may be a fan of Apple and Steve Jobs in the case of computers, but in terms of ambition to make things better for humanity, I am a big fan of Bill Gates. I admire his ambiton to do things better and how unselfish he is. It’s not only “make things better through better software products” it’s more likely “make things better by rewarding those who are already doing great things so that they continue to do good things” for example, people who are good teachers.

By rewarding those who are good at teaching it helps them to keep their ambition and by being a good teacher we will..
Well watch the video below Bill Gates will tell you, it’s worth the 20 min even if you hate microsoft and thier products and even if you are an Apple fan, it’s worth it.

Watching movies is one of my main interest and today when I was watching trailers on apple.com/trailers I found few movies that I’m looking forward to see. As far as I can see, it’s going to be a wonderful movie year. With, at least what I think, more flips than flops.

Terminator Salvation

Terminator 3 was a big disappointment for me so I hope the fourth movie in the series will be much better. According to the trailer it looks very promising.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Trailer

Since I’m a big fan of the X-men series, this is a “must see” movie. I really hope that the movie is going to be big flip.

Transformers: Revenge of the fallen

The first Transformers was a big flip to me. But it’s hard to predict if this movie is going to be better or worse than the first movie.

Battle for Terra

This movie looks very interesting. The earth is dead and the human is near their extinction. The only way for the humans to survive is to invade a already inhabited planet. According to the trailer it seems to be a movie seen from the “aliens” point of view. In this case the human race is the “aliens” that invade a planet. I think this is the first time I’ve heard of a movie of this type.

This movie is based on a short movie with the same name and was nominated for “The best animated short movie” in the Academy Award 2005. I love the animation style in this movie, it reminds me of a typical Tim Burton movie who is also the producer in this movie. Since I’m a fan of Tim Burton, this movie is one of the movies I really looking forward to.

For not a long time ago I read about a site where you could upload or take a daily picture of yourself for as long as you want. I decided to try that service and as the time goes the more pictures you’ll have gathered of yourself. I the begining it’s not that much intresting, but after a few days it will get more intresting because you can now se how much you’ll change as the time goes. As I mention in my post about Battlefield Heroes, I’m a fan of the Battlefield series but that doesn’t mean that I’ve played all the games in the series. In fact I’ve only played Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Battlefield Heroes Beta and some of the Battlefield mods.

Anyway since the Battlefield Heroes and is just around the corner to it’s release and the recent announcement of Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943, I was watching some of the official Bad Company videos on You tube and realized that they are very funny and made me laugh a lot.

The Battlefield series is one of my favorite game series. The upcoming game in the BF series is the MMO version of Battlefield, called Battlefield Heroes which EA and DICE are going to provide for free. Here is the information found on the official BFHeroes site:

I’ve been looking forward to try this game for a long time and finally this Thursday I received a beta test key to BF Heroes.

The game is very simple and easy to learn and you don’t need a computer with the latest hardware to play it, which I really appreciate since my Windows computer is over 5 years old and don’t like new fancy games.
I also like the “cartoon-style” in the game because it makes me laugh even if I just got killed. It also reminds me a little bit of the early game “Codename Eagle”, which was developed by Refraction Games, which later was purchased by DICE, but that’s another story.

Overall the game is very funny to play and I love that it is has a “fast-game” style, with that I mean the re-spawn time is very short (5 sec), and if you are a accustomed Battlefield player you’ll love this game. At least that’s what I do and I really looking forward to new updates and items to my character.

Due to the NDA I can’t tell more about the game, you’ll have to wait until the public release of the game or sign up for a beta key here.
Well at least I can tell you that it will be worth waiting for..

Once again The Academy Award is over for this time. This year’s Academy Awards was very good. I realized very early in the show that I haven’t seen many of this years nominated movies and my predictions of who the winners would bee was not very correct.
Fortunatelly, it was a very good show better than last year. This year’s Oscar gave us a very unpredictable winner, Slumdog Millionaire that was given as many as eight oscars. I haven’t seen that movie yet but I didn’t think that it was worth eight oscars.
